Creating Silence through Sound
Very often, I work with high frequencies and usually end up observing that these high-pitched sounds have a magical force of attraction. High-pitched sounds - as long as they are not shrill and upsetting - leave us in peace and give us the impression of floating several inches above the ground. Perhaps the acoustic sensations we experience when hearing very high-pitched sounds bring us close to experiencing something like an artificial silence.
